Really good and affordable

I was able to run my 4.2GHz Ryzen 5 3600 with a cooler Hyper 212 Black Master on it. temps max 75 with CPU at 100% Celsius load (which is good). I don't know why I can't use the microphone even after downloading the drivers, but it could be my fault. It should be noted that the NVME slot is very close to the GPU PCIe slot. Overall good and cheap

Does the job, supports ryzen 5 5600x out of the box

Mobile works fine (only used it a couple of weeks) but the RGB controller sucks. If you want a nice build with RGB options, I'd recommend spending a few bucks more on a mobo with the best RGB software. Google the ASRRGBLED program and you will see people complaining about it. I didn't understand this before, but it's not worth going back. Very limited lighting control software only.

Great for what it is

Budget entry into PCIe 4.0, Ryzen 5000, and pretty decent UEFI options. I upgraded to this from an MSI x370 that was no longer supported. I bought it specifically to support Ryzen 5000, but I'm still using Ryzen 5 3600X. This board has AMD overclocking options that allow you to set AMD Precision Boost Overdrive options, and after adjusting them I was able to get my 3600x within 10 percent of the standard 5600x. After that, I really didn't want to step in for a $300 CPU upgrade that I don't need

Installation instructions missing key elements

After installation, it sings. When combined with a Ryzen 5 3600 fan and heatsink, fully tightening the mounting screws with light pressure will short out the processor and fail POST. Although the damage is not permanent, it will result in the loss of many hours of troubleshooting. Also, the embedded video will not become active until you install the driver CD. This means that even if you don't start with the graphics card installed, you will fail POST. More time is spent fixing two issues that…

Careful. Motherboards

The board worked fine for 1 week. Mine didn't work with the XMP profile, it caused constant BSODs and desktop crashes while gaming, and sometimes YouTube videos froze. Tried everything, including all currently available Bios versions. I've also used it to work from home with TeamViewer and such. In such situations he did not hang. It can run for hours without a hitch. 2 weeks of troubleshooting and suggestions from Asrock and nothing helped. Get another board and see if it works. **UPDATE: I…

Simple but powerful and feature rich for the average gamer

Cheapest B550 ATX MB on the market. Sure, it's not as trendy or glamorous as some of the other motherboards you can pick up for $150+, but why spend the extra cash when you can invest in a faster processor or graphics card. If you plan on overclocking a lot you might want to spend the extra money, but just for gaming and normal day-to-day work you can't beat the price of a MB. It has all the connections and features for the average gamer. Comes with the Asrock software package to manage a…
