First, ASRock's Realtek audio drivers do not allow you to select outputs when you have multiple output devices connected. So if I have speakers plugged into my computer AND headphones in the front, I can't just click on the windows speaker icon and choose which of the two I want to play audio from. Pristine motherboard. I love it. It works great, no hassles, easy to set up, easy to connect to everything, and most importantly, everything works with it! I bought this to replace another popular mobo that was rated as one of the best but arrived completely broken, brand new and factory sealed. This is an undiscovered gem.

Despite my concerns, using this board for my first server build went well. At first I had memory problems (my fault - I bought the wrong parts) - the board told me. Not very clear but it told me. I bought a new ram and boom - everything worked. :-) What I like: 8 SATA ports, fancy LEDs that add visual impact, M.2 with heatsinks. What I didn't like:-1. No USB-C port on the front of my case (so I bought one for a few bucks and it works - not full USB-C, but at least it saves me from a broken port

The gaming system built on this board shows amazing performance in combination with the Ryzen 3800X and 5700XT. But this board seems to have a very significant design flaw as the GPU almost completely covers the southbridge fan where I suspect there will be no airflow. You can also see that the SB heats up a lot, around 70 degrees under light load and around 66 degrees when idling. This was my first computer in 15 years and I was nervous; Fear of complications, wrong parts and broken pins. Before I installed the board and laid the parts on it, I watched a few YouTube videos on how to assemble my first computer, read the good instructions that came with this motherboard, and took my time. I am using this with an AMD 3700x processor. Installation was easy with the AMD processor. I immediately updated the BIOS and drivers after installing Win 10 and everything is working fine now. It's been a month since I put together a new system with this motherboard. Haven't noticed any crashes so far. Will update the review after spending some time on it.
