Holds up well. Love it!

Price: $170. Bought for $206. So far he's held up well. I can say that I previously had VGA cables and the first few boots didn't read from HDMI, so I connected both VGA and HDMI to my GPU, seems to have fixed the issue. Although I haven't tried HDMI from the board myself. I contacted the seller on delivery and they found a good great company. 3rd and 4th generation.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons

Excellent motherboard for internals

This MB was very easy to use, installation and setup went smoothly. I only had one problem and that was when I updated the BIOS to the latest version the raid question came up and I just hit enter as I wasn't using a raid with 1 NVME SSD. Anyway, the system could not find the Windows startup disk when booting. Somehow the windows boot entry got deleted and I had to reinstall windows which didn't really matter since it was a brand new system install. The system is a Ryzen 7 3700X processor with…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Good motherboard but not for the 5000 series.

Overall it's a good motherboard but I'm deducting 2 stars for false advertising. The motherboard I received was NOT flashed for use with my Ryzen 7 5800x. On startup I got stuck on "Press DEL or F2 to open BIOS" and nothing happened when I pressed any of those keys. After lots of hardware troubleshooting, it turned out that when I returned to my Ryzen 5, it started fine. The ASUS EZ Flash made the update very easy and took 5 minutes, but it would save me a lot of trouble if I knew how to start…

BIOS settings are ignored.

UPDATE: This board has a dreaded "USB bug" even in the latest BIOS available. If you use USB devices, be aware that you will need to disconnect and reconnect them quite often. This primarily affects my mouse and Schiit Modi 3. It's very annoying having to crawl under the table to find out about it. Score changed from 3 to 1. Attention buyers. The BIOS seems to be updated frequently, but Asus has been known to drop support after next-gen devices are released. This motherboard also hates my CPU…

  • Great for a small home

  • Some small things

Good board, good price.

I finally managed to get my hands on a 6700XT from AMD so I decided to upgrade from B450 to B550 to take advantage of PCIe Gen 4 for my GPU and M.2 NVMe drive. Installing the I/O shield wasn't too difficult, but some of the brackets had to be bent slightly to fit properly. The Ryzen 5000 series is ready. I didn't have to use the old CPU or BIOS Flashback, it just worked out of the box with my Ryzen 5 5600X. Pro's - Ryzen 5000 Ready - 3 M.2 slots (as far as I know, only M2_1 slot supports PCIe…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to say

Love it. (any problems solely my fault) Would buy again for another build. There were some issues with the system bar header, but these are easily fixed with a night's sleep. I had a hard time installing the cooler as I installed one first which was easy to access and it took hours to finally get the second clip in place, but that was all my fault. The processor was easy to install, there were no issues, and the fans were plug and play. What really impressed me was the RGB. I didn't even know…

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Good but not great
