Too bad this monitor wasn't that expensive. In general, it turned out to be pretty solid! I got tired of using the stand due to complaints from other reviewers. The picture was amazing! It was also a bit awkward to carry around and the pouch that came with it doesn't fit everything.

I enjoy it in every way except one... I also had entrances on the right side. Thunderbolt 3 cables are very rigid, as are HDMI cables. This essentially forces you to use a single aspect ratio monitor or side of the laptop. If you're using it for portable gaming from a mini system, I suspect it matters less. Great monitor. The internal battery works fantastic, it lasts me about 3 hours. Mostly it is used from the mains, but the flexibility is good. The processing quality leaves a lot to be desired. This review is dedicated to the XG16AHPE. The battery needs to be charged in order to be used, even if your laptop is powering and charging it. This makes it more difficult to use compared to no battery at all, as you now have to constantly make sure it's charged. The extra money for the battery is not worth it. This display is a great portable option. The built-in battery helps keep the display at full brightness even on the rare occasions when I don't get enough power via USB-C, so I never had to plug it in. I mainly use it for office work and for its excellent resolution, color reproduction, brightness, etc. There is also no backlight around the edges of the display. This monitor is great. The picture is clear and the battery lasts well. It's expensive, but there's nothing quite like it. People who mention the tripod is weak must have bought a different tripod. It's important! and very durable. Supporting yourself with a lid is dangerous, I definitely recommend a tripod. The tote bag is a cheap $5 bag. If I had to select something in this monitor, I would say tones. This monitor is a beast and since I've had it I haven't gone back to my big screen. If the sound quality was better or louder (if possible) then this monitor would be fine. The stand that comes with the bag is a must. The monitor has good colors and given its size, the 1080p resolution is sharp. Unfortunately, quality control is poor. The first monitor didn't charge at all. The second has a light spot (see photo). Only used at home, never traveled with it. Will return this one.

This monitor blew my mind. I use it with the RAZER Blade 17 and the monitor fits the laptop perfectly when the tripod is fully extended behind the laptop. I'm leaning toward a second.
