If the monitor works, it's good. It could be brighter but overall ok. I bought it because of the tripod feature over other cheaper options. However, after a few uses (maybe 5) the screen went black and wouldn't turn on again. I sent it to Asus for warranty work and got it back only to have the same problem after one use. I'll post it again but not sure if it will fix the problem.

Not recommended. As mentioned by others, the screen shattered without any noticeable impact while being transported in an ASUS monitor case. It can be assumed that it was just a slight twisting of the monitor housing. Other monitors do not have this design problem. Little did I know I had to purchase an additional warranty to cover this type of damage. So if you think you need this monitor, be sure to purchase this extended warranty. I think they have poor quality control. The HDMI seemed to have issues with the monitor output over the included cable. It was either a cable or port issue. Be sure to add this to the list of quality control issues with stuck pixel comments. Sometimes this worked after moving the cable until it was ok. Pricey compared to full-size displays, but this is the best travel monitor you can buy. Gorgeous colors and viewing angles with an IPS panel, a 240Hz refresh rate, and the ability to use gsync with a USBC connection on your RTX card. The included stand is very convenient and works well. The monitor has good picture quality and is easy to transport. The battery needs to be charged to use the screen even when plugged in. This means that after many years, when the battery dies, the monitor is likely to become unusable.

I bought this monitor to connect to my phone to display mobile games and watch movies. Battery life is just over 3 hours with heavy use, and the screen colors look great. It's expensive, but if you have the extra money, it's worth it.

TL; DR: Won't charge, won't recognize HDMI and all ports are either bad or just plain broken. I ordered this for my upcoming Lan event and it is absolutely horrible. I plugged it into my GPU's HDMI port and it turned on fine, but it wasn't recognized. I thought the cable was defective and replaced it to test my theory - NO. I continued with this and checked, maybe it's starch. Yes, it doesn't even charge. USB-C won't even plug into the charging port.

If you need an extra travel monitor, this is definitely a good choice. So far there are no problems. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is the low price.

The ROG hardware is still great, but the build quality has slipped when it comes to the ports on this monitor. The monitor I received had backlight bleeding in the bottom two corners of the screen. It's quite annoying to see when the screen goes dark or you have a dark desktop background. I really liked this monitor. I'm a software engineer and only used this monitor for a short while while traveling. Text is super sharp and crisp. You can stare at the anti-glare screen for hours. Menus are easy to navigate (important for regularly changing screen brightness/contrast). The tripod is very stable and brings the monitor to eye level. Worked great for 3 weeks. Then it broke and wouldn't turn on again. I will come back and update after receiving a replacement.
