Good quality for pendants

High quality base chain. The length is standard and suitable for medium sized trailers (10-12 klbs). The hooks are designed to be easy to attach and not slip off the rings.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Other Other

Great chain for cycling

I ordered more than I need, it would be better for a boat trailer or small RV. I have a small lawnmower trailer. I use it but will probably go with a smaller chain for easier connection later.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

Nice chain and great price.

I converted an old 3/4 ton trailer and fitted it with a 2 inch ball hitch. Longer chains were needed and this was perfect. The links are larger/stronger than my original chain. I also like the clips on the hooks to prevent accidental opening of the hooks. Excellent quality!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Great durability - child seats and cargo trailers

Got this chain for my PWC trailer, cut it in two. The extra heavy chain and the S hooks are very thick. The only annoying thing is that it has an even number of links - I think most people end up cutting this chain in half, which means you have to cut two links so that each chain is the same length.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some little things

Even number of links, for some reason

Whether you cut it in half or screw it down the middle, an even number of links is problematic. I can't think of any conceivable reason not to ever want an even number under any circumstances. So the person who designed this never actually used it. -3 stars for that.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Even number of links without reason

Whether you cut it in half or bolt it down the middle, an even number of links is problematic. ever. As such, the person who designed this never actually used it. -3 stars for that.

Pros
  • Class II; meets all SAE specs
Cons
  • Almost never

Good chains for child seats and cargo trailers

I bought these chains to replace old rusty chains on my Triton snowmobile trailer and needed chains with safety locks on the hooks. They arrived well packaged and on time. I cut the chains to length using a Dremel rotary tool and installed them. They look a lot better than the old chains and have the added benefit of safety clasps.

Pros
  • Sport Type: Boating
Cons
  • Clean

i love this one fits cargo trailer

Generally the chain for each of my trailers is a bit longer but the chain assembly will take care of that. Simply leave the loop on your tummy and attach the center section if needed, allowing you to rotate the tongue 90 degrees. (kind of heartless idea that allows better control over a loose trailer) It's probably a good idea to lubricate the retaining spring with waterproof grease, which is a good idea that others don't suggest and rely on gravity to set the to hold hooks in place. Once…

Pros
  • Note: for safety reasons 2 chains are required per trailer
Cons
  • boring packaging
