They did a great job of clearing out the clutter on my desk at home. I had a lot of small things scattered on my desk and I couldn't hide things without putting them in drawers. I'm a visual, so out of sight, out of mind. When I don't see something, I completely forget I even have it. I ordered these specifically to keep the bracelets in my jewelry box in a crazy mess. The 3 inch box was perfect. I measured the bangles with raised surfaces to make sure they fit. Check out my photos. Less than 3 inches from outside edge to outside edge. Inside edge to inside edge is 2.75 inches.
