I bought this because the problem with car fasteners that rely on tape is that they end up falling off. The tape cools down in winter, becomes brittle and the adhesive loses its effectiveness. This was the one bracket that really worked for my 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback. However, I returned it, but only because using the magnetic mount doesn't allow my phone to wirelessly charge when it's not in the car. I had to remove the magnet to do this. Was disappointed as everything else was perfect. So if you don't have wireless charging or don't need wireless charging, it will fit your Mazda 3 2019+. Probably also for the CX-30.

Very nice phone holder. Keeps phone away from air vents. The magnets work very well. A disadvantage is that the spinning ball cannot be tightened enough to prevent it from tipping down. I love the product but this error makes me return it. UPDATE: When I disassembled it to return it, I realized I had the wrong thread on the ball. That's why the phone kept falling down. Extra hook length is great for wider vents. The cars I've tried this in have very little space to put my phone down while charging and/or connecting to Apple CarPlay.
