Looks so pretty and is very well made. It had a lot of rough chenille (which is common, and I expected that), so I recommend doing what I did: let it go in the washing machine for 5 full heavy cycles, then tumble dry for at least that many Cycles in the dryer to ensure the lint trap is empty. about every 20-30 minutes.

I'm keeping this product but it's not exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for a durable chenille blanket made in the olden days, this is not it. For me it's more the weight of the tablecloth. The part that isn't fluffy looks rough and made of crepe paper to me. It has a funny smell and releases a lot of cotton dust into the air.

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I've had one before and loved the light summer weight and great coverage. It doesn't reach the floor because I have a regular bed frame and a very thick mattress BUT it covers the box spring/frame and has enough space to put the pillows in. It's beautiful and well made. This is chenille. You MUST WASH/DRY to get rid of excess lint, but one wash/dry was enough to remove most lint. Can be used with a duvet underneath for extra warmth, but I use it 'as is'…
