I set up my router at home and connected all my wireless devices to it. When we got to the two wired hotels, it took less than 30 seconds to connect and connect. The signal was strong and reliable. I like the idea that I now have a much more secure WiFi hotspot when traveling.

Works well. Decent range. It exceeds all expectations. This is a travel router, not a range extender or home router replacement. If that's what you're expecting, don't call this product, it's not designed for that. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the added security and ability to use our geek devices at the same time. I bought this router because it was USB powered and dual band at the same time. Because it's USB powered, I need one less network adapter. I have been using the reliable and legacy 3COM travel router for many years. The main reasons for replacing 3COM are USB power delivery and 5GHz bandwidth. If you travel and use the internet this is a must have. It's common for hotel rooms to have in-room internet but no Wi-Fi at no extra charge. This solves this problem and also allows many users to connect. The connection is very simple and secure with a password. I found the range great. I recently used it in a mountain cabin and had internet on all three floors and in all rooms. I highly recommend this excellent router.

Small footprint USB micro power supply. My home speed is 150Mbps. When connected to my main router it was 87Mbps and 97Mbps while streaming shows from Netflix. So yes it does. It's easy to log in and change the router name and password to my personal preferences.
