Bissell 203-5661 Clean Water Tank with Cap & Insert 40N7 Review

That's a big bissel water tank and a lid that was too big for my bissel. Some reviews say the plastic tank says Bissel, but I didn't have anything on it. He looked strong. I sent it back and ordered a small cap which I finally found.

My carpet cleaner sink fresh water tank kind of went missing so I was grateful to find it in stock on Amazon. It was inexpensive and is exactly the same as the lost one. Works as it should. I haven't rated durability as I've only used it once but I don't see why it won't last as long as a machine. Unless, of course, I lose that one too.

I ordered this to replace the one that came with my Bissell ReadyClean. This is roughly the same as the bissell.com replacement. Unfortunately there is no straw/tube that connects to the cap. This was my main reason for ordering a replacement as I had lost mine. I'm not sure if there was a redesign that no longer requires a straw, but it still has a round part on the lid where the straw attaches.

This tank is better than the original Bissel tank that came with the cleaner. This is heavy duty and the screw on the cover is stronger too. I am happy with this product and if I ever need more I will order again! I hope I don't have to be the reason I need this because I was lazy and left the cleaner upside down in the tank so it attacked the rubber causing it to leak and become unusable. This is the ONLY replacement item I have purchased for my Bissell that is worth the money.
