Blackmagic Design FBA_BDLKWEBPTR Web Presenter Review

Although it's working great for us now - we had to buy all the necessary cables which in itself isn't too difficult. However, since there was no information or instructions, it got a little interesting figuring out what we needed and once we figured that out how to operate the damn thing. Good thing I had enough time to play, practice and push buttons before I had to use it.

I use this in a rack of 3 cameras and computer video, it's always reliable and I've never had problems using it with other programs if necessary, OBS, X-Split , Zoom, GoToMeeting, Webex, Facebook Live. Like all Blackmagic devices, it only comes in a box with instructions on an SD card. I have a front panel to make life easier, but it works great even without it, you just have to control it via a second USB cable or toggle switch. I ordered this for an installation I was doing this week when I really needed the unit to work as advertised. I have already used this device in another installation where the client already had it and it worked fine. But with this device, I wasn't prepared for the lack of cords. No power, USB, etc. After I started looking for cables, the device just didn't work. I've tried multiple cables, multiple computers, nothing worked. This device must be plug and play.
