I wanted to have more cartilage piercings but didn't want to spend money at a piercing shop as they usually cost at least $20 per piercing. Upon arrival, all needles were individually wrapped. The tips of the needles were covered with plastic tubing to prevent puncture of the packaging and to remain sterile. One of my friends (a tattoo artist) helped me with the piercing. They definitely got the job done (piercing their own nose) with no complications, but they aren't like the picture and actually have angles along the edge of the piercing (two cuts to make the tip, not one smooth anyway). I decided on pierced ears and ordered them. I was able to pierce my own ear in about 30 seconds and it felt almost nothing. They are very sharp. Unfortunately none of my earrings fit in the hole but that was my fault. They worked for what they should do. However, the packaging was not very good. These are SHARP products. I bought a box (of ten) of 18 gauge earlobe needles. Arrived earlier than expected today! It took me about 20-30 minutes to get three new piercings on my left ear. The piercing itself was very light and the needles were so sharp that I hardly felt anything!
