Was very easy to install on my pool pump and has certainly saved me hundreds of repairs. All I had to do was open the top of my Hayward/Centurion pump by removing two screws and pulling off the old condenser. Before installing a new one, make sure the power is off and discharge the old one. So far, so good!

I had to hammer something on the case as this item was a little bigger than the old one but worked great and should be better than other brands I've tried. Pool Pump Motor Update; A tighter fit might have resulted in more warmth as it failed after around 45 days. I switched to a smaller body.

I was having trouble finding an exact replacement for my pool pump. This met the specifications I was looking for and was delivered the same day. Since my pool was out of order I decided to try this one. No packaging as it was just wrapped in plastic but it arrived great and 5 minutes later my pool was up and running again. I plan to order another one as a spare/backup.

My pool pump suddenly stopped working. The pool shop staff told me I will probably need to buy a new one. I watched a YouTube video that suggested checking the pool pump capacitor, which is located in the case on top of the unit. In fact, the capacitor looked swollen and registered "open" when measured on my meter. Anyway, I replaced the capacitor and everything works fine. Spent $13 instead of $800 on a new pump.

My pool pump was noisy and smelled burnt. I turned off the pump but it wouldn't restart, just made a whirring noise and eventually tripped the thermal switch. After letting it cool down, I tried the pump again - it won't start, just a buzzing noise. I called the billiards and they insisted on a replacement. Would have given a higher rating but want potential buyers to be aware of this rating/warning. The part was functional and probably deserves a higher rating, but be very careful to check the dimensions of the part. Although the connector pins were correct and the component was identical to the one I was replacing, the element was slightly larger in diameter which prevented it from fitting into the motor capacitor case I was converting.
