Hitachi M12VC Power & Hand Tools

The picture is a bit deceptive as the collet is not that strong. Works great on my Hitachi m12vc! Tried another interchangeable collet and almost broke the router as nothing seemed to center the bits. That's what you need and I'm very satisfied.

BOSCH COLLETT: Power tool parts and accessories

0 for heat! 0 in thickness. Bought as a replacement as the new Bosch milling collet looks pretty flimsy. Thin-walled collets can easily break. At 25,000 rpm it makes it pretty exciting, especially with lots of spin. The design should release a bit that can often get stuck in a router. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

  • Cool product
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Well, it worked out great and I stayed on schedule

I'm at home in rehab. Eventually I lost my 1/2" collet for my milling machine. Sears didn't have it and it took 2 weeks to get it. Some internet research revealed that some Bosch and the handyman could have used the same collet because of the thread pitch was the same.I have a 12 amp to 25000rpm router and Amazon had a Bosch collet in stock. And I was lucky enough to be able to get it delivered the same day!Well it worked out great and I stayed on schedule.

Fits Hitachi M12VC - Collets

Purchased to replace the infamously awful 1/2" collet that comes with the Hitachi M12VC. I can make sure it really fits. However, I can't test how it behaves under load yet. I'll let you know when I have a chance to test it. 5 stars so far. Updated: 05/28/15. for easy edge trimming. I didn't press too hard but I suspect it will be fine as the collet snaps in nicely (and comes out with no problem)! 5 stars remain.

Not only for Bosch!

I have a Ryobi RE 601 plunge milling machine. The collet broke. The nut portion was ok. I looked for a replacement part and found it cost about $40! .if you could find it as they listed this part as obsolete. (Great marketing idea). What I did then was put the nut in my pocket. Went to Home Depot and tested the mother on every router they had. Wow, Ryobi changed the thread pattern but it suits Bosch perfectly! Well, it didn't take a neurosurgeon to figure that out. I found the part number for a

Compatible with Craftsman 320.37595

My Craftsman 37595 (bought about 2 years ago) only came with a 1/4" collet and I thought I could add a 1/2" collet (for bigger and heavier cutter ) later. Unfortunately, I've found that Sears Parts Direct and other vendors no longer sell these, and some cartridges that claim to be OEM parts for the Craftsman either don't fit or hold bits unsafely. The UK website claimed that Big Horn 19693 (replacing Bosch 2610906284 and some others) would also work on some Craftsman routers but not mine. Next,
