This is horrible. Not only does the protection module need to be initiated every time you turn on the power. If something hits the cable, it turns on the protection module again and you have to wait 3-5 minutes for it to complete. Does it very often. Not only that, one of these exploded in my hand as I pushed the plug a little further into the outlet. It was just connected, I just kept pushing it, and then it exploded in my hand and sent me to an ambulance.

Update: I have two servers that cost around $1900 each and both are connected to them. There was a power surge in the building they are in which caused one of them to die and the other to go offline, but both servers are fine! I immediately bought two more of these, one to replace the dead one and the other to have a backup on hand. This is a small investment to protect such expensive equipment, VERY VERY JOY!
