This is a well made backpack and the water tank system with quick release buckles is very well made. It's a nice big backpack, maybe for the night if the weather is right. I think it will take a reasonable amount of time. I'm only deducting a star because the warranty is misleading. Camelbak says it has a lifetime warranty, but if you read the fine print, it's dictated by what Camelbak believes is a reasonable product lifespan, not your lifespan. brown purchased to meet certain consistent standards; Anyway, the left side is my ABU pattern which I have had for over 5 years. The right side is the brown product I bought. I'm not entirely sure if it has to be the "newer" model, but the beige one I bought doesn't easily remove the waist belt. My ABU had the lap belt attached with Velcro and could be removed and put back on, but on the brown one I cut the lap belt off at the end because it was sewn in place.
