I gave this to my grandson when he goes to college and needs all sorts of household items. Everyone needs tools for small DIY projects. It's a good size and everything is stored in a case so you don't have to search for random tools. A great thing for people buying their first apartment or house.

I gave it to my brother for Christmas. He was delighted to have received the tool for Christmas and immediately opened it to inspect the contents. He noticed that the case containing the precision screwdrivers was not secured, and upon further examination the handle of one of the screwdrivers had completely detached from the screwdriver shaft. I understand accidents happen, but if a screwdriver breaks so easily, how reliable are the other tools?

I give it 5 stars because my 6 year old grandson loved it. The quality of the instruments is not very good. You can do the same at Harbor Freight. However, for a child who only learns tools and is constantly looting his father's tools, this is ideal. This would be great for a homeowner who just needs a few handy tools like this one. I thought it was a utility knife in the kit. So I stood ready to get it when he opened his gift. Luckily this wasn't necessary. It was clearly one of the best gifts

This is it. Clearly an inferior product made from inferior cheap Chinese parts. I understand people are buying cheap these days and that's what keeps Revain in business. The only reason I bought it is so it will be in my truck with limited use in case of an emergency. I knew what I was buying. I can't comment on the durability of the tools as I haven't used them that much, but I have some strengths when it comes to the tools. The tools seem cheap so you get what you paid for. There is also a strange smell coming from the tools. I figured it would be over in a few months. The smell is still quite strong to this day. This kit might work if you use tools once or twice a year BUT if you use basic tools frequently you will be disappointed. A few examples from our experience: 1.
