I have a Ridgid wall mounted shop vacuum. When I bought the vacuum cleaner it had two hoses. One is very short but of excellent quality and does not twist. Another hose, longer, constantly kinked and twisted. I also got tired of unhitching the vacuum cleaner to get it where I need to go. You have no idea how much easier the LONGER vacuum hose just got! I used to hate vacuuming the floor. We have a central vacuum system in our house, only 6 sockets. So I don't have to vacuum by pushing or pulling that heavy vacuum cleaner myself.
