Bought for use with a Garmin DVR and it works great. Enough length to go from the rearview mirror, through the top of the window, down the A-pillar, under the dash to the accessory outlet that takes in our Honda Civic. I had problems with mass storage. I also bought one for our Silverado. There are no problems there either.

The metal pins on this one are really poorly made and installed - they broke off when they pulled it off after about a month of use and now burned all the electronics/cigarette lighter connectors I can't do anything use what it needs without spending an exorbitant amount on electrical repairs, which is one of the most expensive things after a transmission or engine overhaul. I just used this for a dash cam but instead my car got damaged from the inside.

I have an old Shark DVR and the cable snapped and instead of buying a brand new camera that I didn't buy I just have to get it the cable I'm looking for to see if I can find a replacement cable and this cable did the trick. Even though my cigarette lighter fuse blew I change the fuse because I knew I had just received this wire and the fact that the light didn't come on knew it wasn't a wire it was a fuse. so basically the cable is great quality at a great price and I would definitely recommend

First of all, the description of the marker (until September 9th 2019) says that this power cable has a Mini USB Type A connector, actually it has a Mini USB Type B connector. Doesn't work with this particular dash cam: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MIO2KRC/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title ?ie=UTF8&psc=1Es gave enough power to power the DVR, but it had no functionality or ability to RECORD. The main function of the DVR, right? "EDO Tech Supply Seller" did not help. I will no longer buy from them.

Works PERFECTLY with my Garmin Dash Cam 35 dashcam. Doesn't show a grumpy data saving screen when I turn on my car, it fits from my driver's side top glass panel to the glove box without any cables whatsoever indicates! I paid for this product, did not receive a discount and am not affiliated with EDO Tech. It's just a cheaper replacement than the $25 Garmin branded cable!

This is the 4th cable I am ordering from Revain. All others, when connected to my Garmin 35, gave a message about an external drive. The problem with this is that it doesn't stay on for more than a few minutes. I switch to my original cable and no problem. I assume that to hide the power cable for my Garmin 35 I will have to connect my machine's factory cables.
