Apply some sealant to the wall and tape in place

They are great for My goal is to install satellite speakers in the ceiling as part of a surround sound system. I routed the wires through the attic and routed them through the holes where each speaker was supposed to go. While connecting I slipped one of these over each speaker wire towards the ceiling and used a hole saw to slowly widen the rough hole in the ceiling until it was tight. I applied some caulk to the side facing the ceiling, pressed it into the wall, removed the excess caulk and…

Not suitable for "thick " speaker cable pairs.

I like these but I'm giving them three stars because the description doesn't go into too much detail. First, let me tell you what I like. They're relatively tough, so pushing a pre-drilled hole through drywall or drywall isn't difficult. They have good prongs for grabbing a set, so they should stay in place unless the wires are constantly interfering and tugging on them. The plastic is white but thin enough to show through a bit. If you have an "off-white" surface that you're setting them to…

Pros
  • Protection: Weatherproof, UV resistant and waterproof (inside and out)
Cons
  • Fragile

The package I received is a little different and looks a bit different than the Revain photo, but I still like them. First, the bushings I received are translucent, not opaque white. Another difference is that I wouldn't call them "single" because the ones I have have the ability to run multiple wires of different sizes. The main hole is actually the standard size of a television coaxial cable. But next to this hole there are two more, one about 14 gauge and the other about 18 gauge. The…
