It can be seen that the long tube filters are fine, but the flat disc filter does not let the air through evenly. The picture shows that part of it is completely white and part is dirty. The end result is vacuum superheat. Instead of shortening the life of my vacuum cleaner, I'm going to buy a genuine Dyson filter and get rid of this fake one.

I liked the fact that it was made to look like a real replacement filter (it's the one that fits Monster Ball), it's like a real filter which means it bolts on is but it's a piece of junk as it sounded like a boeing max attached to my dyson monster car as there is a loud horrible noise from not fitting properly in the wheel. It's not curable so make sure to buy it if you like it if your car sounds like a jet but damn sure if it doesn't fit right it won't even filter properly.

I ordered these to compare with my original Dyson parts which needed replacing. The filter and pre-filter replacement parts in my animal Dyson DC41 - they appear to be of the same quality as the original parts that I have previously replaced with Dyson parts. Getting new filters has taken Dyson suction to a whole new level. I washed and dried the parts beforehand, but getting these spares is much better. I love having 2 pre-filters as I don't have to stop vacuuming for 24 hours between rinses!
