Lenovo users should read this

This cable works as intended. However, if you use a 24-pin connector, be aware that there is a 50/50 chance of burning out your motherboard. If your power supply is a 20-pin connector, the four extra pins are optional. USE ONLY the 20 pin connector! If you only have 24 pins and there is no way to make 20, you are at risk. With 20 contacts I had no problems. 24 pins on Lenovo motherboards pose the risk of instant death. Just a warning.

Pros
  • Keeping my fists
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great adapter for branded motherboard power connectors

I was amazed when I wanted to change the power supply on my Lenovo workstation and found a strange 10-pin power connector on the motherboard. After an hour of crying and rocking in the shower, I went to Revain and bought an adapter. It worked wonderfully.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Hard to say

Is working! Just plug in the 20 pin just in case

Following Jake's warnings in these reviews, we just plugged in the 20 pin from our new PSU (Corsair 650m) and all Works flawlessly. Son's little Lenovo is now a GTX 1080 gaming rig. To be honest, I'm blown away by how plug and play this whole upgrade was (other than realizing we needed that adapter in the first place - why Lenovo with it broke the industry standard 10 pinboard!?)

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not the best

He gets on with his job easily

He gets on with his job easily. Let me explain the predicament. 1) The Lenovo PSU is good for 250W, which adequately supports the i7 processor, additional memory and an additional hard drive. All the peripherals in this computer system use the power provided by the motherboard as it turns off those peripherals when the power is turned off. 2) The motherboard is powered by the PSU via five 12V wires/pins. Each pin and wire has a safe rating of 6.0 amps, or a maximum total continuous output of…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Without instructions

Worked well no problems

I bought this to connect the 24 pin connector that came with the EVGA 750 G5 Gold series modular power supply to the 10 pin connector on my Lenovo to adapt Ideacentre 710-25ISH motherboards. Some reviews mentioned using this adapter fried their motherboard so I was a bit hesitant at first but after a few power cycles I had no problems. The plastic connectors are of good quality and the black wire matches the EVGA cable very well. This adds a bit of length so some cable management is required…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It works! Internal Components

Plug and Play! If you're buying this, you most likely bought a power supply that isn't connected to the motherboard. If you're like me, you don't want to accidentally splice multiple wires and accidentally place the wrong wire in the wrong place. This trailer serves its purpose.

Pros
  • Expensive but Decent
Cons
  • Compatibility

. honest in my reviews and this product did not suit me

I am very honest in my reviews and this product did not suit me. He blew up my motherboard. I read reviews. Many of them. It seemed to work. No, instant death as soon as I flipped the new power switch. A few reviews mentioned it, but none said what motherboard they used it on, so I'll post pics. I finally ordered a new motherboard. One with a 24-pin ATX connector "any other motherboard with the same connector and RAM". Replaced everything and everything works. WITHOUT CABLES, of course. Hope…
