Key Features

Similar Products Comparison: Unlike traditional training methods, the COA Target Stick offers a unique and efficient approach to training. While other training aids might focus solely on vocal commands, the stick provides a tangible and visual target, enhancing the learning process for dogs.

  • Training more advanced tricks such as fetching and spinning.

Kind of useless IMHO. for learning and behavioral aids

OK I'm in top shape and everything works, the telescopes close, strong, shiny, the tip at the end is like a styrofoam ball and it's red. Red is a stupid color because dogs don't see red. My dog doesn't care at all, but that's probably because dogs don't see red, and for some reason the manufacturer made the prompt sound reasonable. It is like the size of a ballpoint pen when fully closed and the size of an entire hand when fully open.

    Pretty cool! on training clicker

I like this goal. The telescope feature is useful and I like the clip. I just want the target itself to be rubber instead of foam, and if my dog gets too carried away with aiming, he'll hit it a bit hard, causing the bar to bend. Easy to bend, just a little annoying. When she first learned to aim, not knowing not to put it in her mouth, there were tooth marks on the foam target. I highly recommend training your dog with a target stick. This makes learning more complex behaviors very easy.

    The perfect training device!

I wanted to teach my dog to aim (walk on a free leash). I've had another target with an attached clicker in the past and I have to say I didn't like it as much as this one. (If you're curious, it's not hard to hold this and the clicker in one hand!) The clip makes it easy to clip to your shirt pocket or treatment bag when not in use. And the ball at the end is soft (not hard plastic like other products). This taught my dog to aim and the touch command very quickly and we will use it as a…

Great for training - training clickers

My vet suggested clicker training my cat to help deal with some of our behavioral issues. I decided to buy this when it became clear that I didn't want to and couldn't quite bend over to my cat to teach her 'aim'. It worked great! The red ball is surprisingly attractive and I found both of my cats were naturally interested in it, which made training that much easier! The ball is larger than some other targets on the market making it easier for my cat to see from a distance. I love this product…

I have a wonderful independent cat who is bored and has lost interest in her toys and stuff. She just wasn't happy. I wanted to see if I could bring some fun and spice back into her life with a clicker and new treats, although I was skeptical that a cat can learn anything. boy was i wrong! All it took was some clicker treats and a Clix Target Stick to get them moving! After some trial and error by the operator, she now follows commands for things like getting up from the kitchen table, jumping…

Happy with this COA Target Stick

I bought this COA Target Stick hoping to start training my parrot. GOOD:1. Was cheap. I saw a clicker with a built in target that cost about $18. Oh please. Got this and a separate clicker for a total of $6.2. Easy to use. It reminds me of an old TV antenna (aka "bunny ear"). Has a clip that can be attached to a shirt or bag. I didn't use this feature because I couldn't (and probably won't) get it outside with a bird. I could see the clip is good when you take your dog to the park for…
