I had previously bought rubber bands of different sizes but decided not to buy them again as they wear out quite quickly. This is a good quality flexirod. It's a bit more noticeable that I'm wearing them and can be a little uncomfortable if they're too tight. I have short hair, 4-6 inches long, and I was hoping it would have a smaller radius. Not the best option if you have the same hair length as me and want a tighter curl pattern, but they will do the job if you're hoping for looser waves.

Perfect for my hair. 1 1/2" radius, 8" length, 1/2" diameter. My hair is styled in layers about 5" long. I can make sections and spiral them from the top of my head to my neck or use them to curl it into a layer. Makes a tight curl on rollers and generally holds up very well. After the hair dries, the curl is well formed but soft. I'm sure this will create nice spirals on longer hair.
