Installed this on my BRZ to get my OEM backup camera to work with my new Chinese Android head unit (Dasaita PX6). I bought this a few months ago and was able to integrate it into my power supply project that needs to power my Pi 3 with a 12v battery (powered by Deltan Battery Tender) . The description says the output is 5 volts at 3 amps; However, when connected to a Pi 3, the display shows poor performance (flashing on screen). The Pi 3 wall adapter is rated at 2.5 amps. I needed to convert my new 12v lithium battery to 6 volts. I have found that 12 volts is too much for a live bait pump. I used a 6v lead acid battery which is HEAVY and used it in a kayak to keep life going. For weight reasons and durability, I went with a 12V lithium battery that weighs 1.5 pounds. vs. lead acid 5 lbs. I bought this to install a Rexing V1 dash cam on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. The item is small and the wires are gracefully long. I was able to install it quickly. It was easy to wrap around with the extra cord length from my factory aux switches.
