CorningWare has been our family for over 40 years. So when I had to add more baking pans, I chose what I felt was best without a doubt. However, I am very disappointed with the lids. Glass lids don't fit well. It slides to the side. cover does not fit. I threw away the packaging so I cannot return the set.

Three stars because the exact same set can be found elsewhere for up to €59, the quality is good, I haven't tried it in the oven yet. It's definitely the package you need for a vacation because it has everything, but as I said, it's significantly cheaper elsewhere.

I just unpacked this set and am very satisfied. I've been using this French White pattern for decades and it has never let me down. But some friends and family do. Bit by bit I've been losing pieces over the years and needing mixing bowls. I couldn't find exactly the right ones so I went with what I knew. With glass lids for cooking and plastic lids for storage, this is the most versatile set. Would I buy and eat again.

We now have an extremely versatile set. 4 larger plates for serving casseroles, side dishes or other main courses. We have small ones big enough for me to take leftovers to work. Have owned several of these items in the past but have had to pass them on to others due to several moves in recent years. I was so happy when I finally found her again. Different sizes are very useful. I was surprised that the smaller oval plate didn't have a glass lid but a plastic lid. They are easy to clean and can be used in the microwave and dishwasher. Essential in every kitchen! I really like this set. I don't know how I survived without her. Although the glass lids are not very durable. First use was in the sink and while rinsing it off a narrow piece of glass managed to break a chunk and get into my thumb. I had to pull it out, which was difficult because it was such a narrow, flimsy piece. Luckily it was only a small piece, but the edge of the glass lid still looks brittle. But it's glass.
