Corsair brand memory is top of the line brand memory. Not sure if Corsair will create their own reminder as they might just be renaming another top tier brand. Regardless of who actually makes it, this is a good, reliable product. I believe the cost is on par with other major brands and if you can get this memory at Revain for the same price or a little less than the competition including the Corsair website. This product will be a lot.

I ordered several of these because the first one I received was defective. Everything seemed fine, but as soon as the load on my computer overcame the faulty part of the chip, the entire computer froze. He took off the chip and called the corsair. I bought this module as a 1x8GB module for my HTPC and it works perfectly although to be honest it has only been in my rig for 2 weeks. So I just added 3 of these to my ASUS P6X58D. That's a total of 36 GB in addition to 3 x 4 GB. Just a little smaller than my other server.
