Highly recommended.

My Dell 9100 had 6 x 2GB of memory which I wanted to upgrade to 6 x 4GB which is admittedly overkill but I often deal with large graphic files open in Photoshop CS5 at the same time and exceed 1GB in size when edited frequently in 16-bit color. Also, I often work with open Illustrator, so memory resources can be limited. With more RAM, less is allocated to the much slower virtual memory on disk. When I installed two 3 x 4GB kits, the computer booted up fine and worked fine in every way, both…

Excellent customer service

One of the things you never know when buying memory is what will happen in a year if it fails. When it comes to Corsair, I have the answer. Will be exchanged without question. I opted for the express service, which means they have to charge my credit card, send me a replacement memory, and then when I send the defective memory back, credit my card. Well, they sent a replacement memory and I sent the defective memory back, but all they did was authorize. My card has never been charged. A few…

RAM is ok. The discount was real PITA

The RAM works perfectly installed in an MSI H67MA-E35 motherboard with Intel i3 processor. Before purchasing I contacted Corsair to confirm this RAM was compatible as it was not on MSI's list of tested compatible modules for this particular motherboard. Corsair immediately replied that it was, so I ordered it and it worked flawlessly from the start. My problem with Corsair started when I applied for the $10 rebate offered by Revain. Having studied the workings of most rebate companies, I go…

terrible product - poor manufacture but excellent customer service

(16gb upgrade) when I first installed the memory cards they worked fine for the first few days but with MEMORY they noticed intermittent freezes for no particular reason and blue screens resets to BSOD. After spending the past few weeks troubleshooting, including a fresh and clean reinstall of Win 7SP1+ on another SSD and various Lenovo-supplied system and hardware assessment software that kept reporting me a memory issue, I returned to the equivalents of Swapping Corsair for Kingston no…

Okay, but next time I'll look elsewhere.

I built my PC in 2012 and have upgraded it over the years. I originally built it with 4GB of RAM (one of those sticks) and added another about a year later for a total of 8GB. Fast forward to today, and this machine has been suffering from random freezes for about six months, with Windows always pointing to the video driver as an error. It did this maybe once a week, eventually getting worse until one day after a Windows 10 update, it stopped booting. I did the old "pull one stick at a time"…

Great upgrade, improved performance

I bought two of these 8GB packs (4 of them, 16GB total) to replace the four 2GB memory modules that came with my PC. Since I'm running an Intel Core i7 processor with Windows 7 Home Premium, I knew that although the specs say this desktop can support 32GB of RAM, the operating system only uses 16GB, so there's no need to add more than 16GB . before adding memory to your PC or laptop.) The memory comes in Corsair retail packaging. Easy to install and all 4 memory modules were recognized by my…
