Useful Sharpening Stones

First of all these sharpening stones are not designed to be used in a standard rotary tool (like a Dremel). They have a 1/4" shank and are designed for use in an electric drill or die grinder. There are 5 different grinding heads in different shapes and sizes - enough variety to handle almost any fine grinding task. The five bits, The ones I received are broken and loose in the bit. Acceptable quality, a bit expensive

Media could not be loaded. As with most consumable tools - things that wear out - one of the important factors is how long they wear out. I got them for light housework that has nothing to do with "work" so I'm not sure how long they will last. So far, so good. They grind as expected but have not been subjected to rigorous testing. Not the artisan of my youth

Many years ago when I was young the name Artisan was very familiar. Everything you bought with the Craftsman name was of the highest quality. By the way, their tools come with a lifetime guarantee. If one of these broke or didn't work properly, all you had to do was take it to a Sears store and buy a new one. Because of this, I expected this sharpening stone insert to be of the highest quality.
