Booklet very difficult to read and not ALL the letters in all the pattern options shown in the picture; (What's great about a really fancy J or N when you can make other letters like this is disappointing.

This is one of those cartridges used to print initials or monograms. That's what I use it for. I prefer to use vinyl for all my letters. It is easier to separate from the mat and easy to layer. You can make giant letters on the wall or one big letter on the back window of the car. Even scrapbooks. Serious! Can't believe I didn't read the reviews! I assumed, which should never be done, that the entire alphabet was included for each letter pictured. But no, you only get the letter pictured in this style and just a plain style with the whole alphabet. However, this one style has a layer and a shadow, so technically you have 3 different styles of the same font. Individual letters are beautiful and can be useful if you only need one letter.
