I first looked at the combs through the bubble wrap and was a bit disappointed as they seemed small and not very strong. However, my first impression was completely wrong. They are well made and hold the hair without pulling or sagging (like "cheap" brushes do). I love that there are 4 of these, I lose my combs regularly and end up with one of many designs so this 4 comb 'insurance policy' was very appealing to me! So my initial reservation turned into total satisfaction!

These combs are so fragile that they break easily. Not to mention decorating them with hot glue or sewing on silk flowers. Does not happen. I bought them for a wedding and wanted to do the bride's hair. I had to buy some at Wal-Mart. I was lucky enough to find a box of hair combs there that contained two clear ones. That would be best because they have a wider area at the top where the decorations could be better placed, but they're all broken in my hands. I do not recommend this. The price for
