If your heels are cracked or dry, great. You'll have to work a little with your hands, but I used the black side to remove the dead skin and the white side to smooth it out. You must use foot oil or foot cream as these products will make your feet very dry but smooth. Just great! Very easy to use! Sleek appearance with good weight. The best file I have ever used (manual or otherwise) to remove calluses. Fast and easy. Can't recommend it more highly! (I haven't had to replace the removable sanding pads yet, so I hope it won't be too difficult. But other than that, I'm very happy with this file.)

The only foot file I will use on my clients. Apply a fresh grain sticker for each customer, remove the sticker and discard after each use. Put the file in the dishwasher and it's ready for the next use! Any sticker residue can be easily removed with a little slime. For personal use, it can probably be used 2-3 times per grain ticker.

This pedicure file is used in nail salons. It has two different sides, one is fine-grained and the other is coarser. If your feet are really dry, I would recommend a finer grit. The nail file comes with replaceable sandpaper. In nail salons they use them with exfoliating lotion after soaking your feet in water. In fact, I prefer to do this when my feet are dry and then apply lotion. This works very well. I'm giving them away!

This product works as intended but the quality of the material is terrible. After a single use, it will rust and discolor. I would not recommend it.
