I bought the small and medium sizes because I wasn't sure which of my girls would fit a size 4. The small fits her and has a tag that says 4-6, while the medium has a tag that says 8-10. I may have missed it in the product description but I hope this helps anyone who is unsure about the size.

I always read a lot of reviews before I buy something online. The general consensus is that this swimsuit needs to run a size up for a good fit. My 5.5 year old daughter is usually at 5/6 and approaching 6x. This item is suitable as a swimsuit with some stretch. I bought these in 6x7 based on reviews and they fit her perfectly!

My daughter is very slim but wears a size 5-6 due to her height. I bought her a size 4-6 pink leotard for ballet and it is too small (tighter than a leotard and cuts into her butt and shoulders). It's also transparent, but I like the material it's made of. It's stretchy (much like a bathing suit) and I don't have to worry about it rubbing like cotton. I gave 4 stars because I think that once I got a size up it would be the perfect swimsuit for her (once I can find some nude underwear for her).
