Darice 1218-96 Embossing Folder: Chevron Background Design - 5 by 7-Inch Review

This folder tears up cardboard. Impressions are too deep. I've tried reducing the spacer which helps a little but I just don't think the design is perfect. Great price but I'll stick with other brands.

I love the Darice 5x7 embossing folders! I use them with Sizzix Bigshot and get great embossing on both ultra light paper like carbon and metal sheets, they work great!

Large format perfect for making A2 cards; other smaller folders leave a smooth edge with no embossing. There is a hole in the top center to slide paper through to make longer pieces. The only thing that couldn't be seen in the picture was that the chevrons are not the same size, one row (alternating) is slightly wider than the other. So if you like a wider embossing or embossing row, you can simply turn the paper over. Tip: Spray the back of the paper lightly with a thin layer of water before…
