Giving away old parts to a friend who badly needs an upgrade. I needed a cooler as the ones I had just didn't fit the i7-4790k. It arrived today and my first impressions so far are great. I installed this in my all white build. Intel i7 9700K average temperature 28C max. 70 degrees in the stress test. My main issue is that the top plastic piece you are looking at is not white. The color is more of a cream color. It was painfully obvious that it didn't go well with the other white components, so I had to take it out and replace it with a cooler with a crisp white plastic surround.

The attachment system would benefit from having a screwdriver with a long enough shank. As for the noise, I don't really hear it; however, no OC is running. Temperatures appear to be in the normal range and there have been no issues in that department. Install it on B550M with Ryzen 6 3600XT.

After removing the stock Ryzen cooler all that is required is to attach the supplied bracket with 4 long screws that insert into the back of the MB and then screw onto the 4 nuts from in front. The fan is removed immediately after adding the thermal paste and placed on top of the processor, screwing 4 screws into the large screws that came from the back and then 2 small screws to attach it to the top of the processor. Bought to replace stock cooler with Ryzen 3600. In Cinebench R20, Ryzen 3600 hit 92 C with the stock cooler, close to thermal throttling. He did the same test with this Gammaxx GTE V2 and did not exceed 70°C. That's 22 degrees difference for little money. The white LED fan is a plus. All in all a great budget cooler for any CPU. I haven't tried overclocking, so overclocking results may vary.
