💨 Enhanced Cooling with DeepCool FH-10 Fan Cooling Solution Review

I love this DeepCool powered fan hub. I bought about 4 of these for different builds because they are perfect. Excellent build quality. Very well designed. They are plug and play and easy to install. The length of the SATA power cable is long enough to manage the wires properly. The blue LED isn't very bright, which is great so you don't get blinded when you check to see if it's turned on successfully.

2 stars for looks only. It powers the fans, but the PWM only runs at minimum or maximum. No fan curve adjustment worked. Tested with Corsair and NZXT fans on ASUS ROG STRIX and ASROCK boards. Same result. I have no way of replacing the PWM "cable" (thin wire) to determine if it's the problem since it's proprietary. I tried to contact the seller but it just goes to the DeepCool website. I don't have time to agonize over something this simple, so I'm reporting back for a refund. I would recommend

Easy installation, no problems so far. It looks bigger in the photos which was a nice surprise as it was half the size I expected. This was my first fan hub purchase so I did my homework first but it wasn't very clear how the PWM function works and it was easy to misunderstand. Also, to control 10 fans, it would be nice to be able to plug a second fan connector into the motherboard and maybe split 5 channels each, giving you 1 setting for 10 fans. That is exactly what is written. This is a fan hub that is easy to install. Well, the cable routing of Corsair's microscopic fans is a whole different story (literally why I got that). There's a blue light that shines quite brightly, so keep that in mind if you really like the aesthetic of your case. Ok the fan hub worked fine for me, I actually used it on a heat sink block for an external custom water cooling circuit for a dyno. Extreme OC and more. Pros: It works. It's pretty cheap for what it is. CONS: The location of the power cord is a little inconvenient at one end. The pwm cpu_fan signal connector is also in an equally odd place at the end so cables go in from all sides, which can work well in some cases, but I also see this working poorly. I have purchased MANY of these fan hubs in the past and have used them with great success. More recently, I've been using this fan hub to control the fans on my liquid-cooled graphics card project. I wanted the graphics card to control the speed of two fans on the heatsink and a small fan cooling the VRM/MOSFET. I tried different splitters with no success until I connected this fan hub to it. Now my graphics card runs quieter and cooler than ever!
