I have an EMI detector and took measurements before and after using the Defender Pad. My laptop shone at a very high level in front of the Defender Pad. Even when the laptop was lying on the table, it emitted a very high level. But when I put the Defender Pad under my laptop, it gave zero! I was really surprised and glad I have it. You just never know what the cumulative amount of electromagnetic field radiation can do over time.

The top of the laptop stand has bulged after just over a year of use making it unusable. Instead, because of the blisters, my laptop is on my pillow and wiggling all over the place. I tried punching a hole in the surface in case it was just to release an air bubble and that didn't solve the problem. Considering the cost of this product, I expected it to last a lot longer. I am extremely disappointed. I have attached a picture that illustrates the defect.

I'm sitting here trying to get my finger to stop the bleeding from this piece of worthlessness. I bought 2 defenderpads a while ago and have really enjoyed using them with my laptops (and I have tested them with a gauss meter and they block EMI!). However, both Defender pads started bubbling on the top rubber layer after a while (after the warranty period had expired) and the laptop no longer lay flat. Revain only allows "one video per review" so it kind of kills all the "before and after videos" I prepared :(( Defender Shield. Extremely high EMF (100+) areas of the keyboard where your fingers are actually typing! The screen doesn't do anything to improve or mitigate this. Reduce the EMF from 2-300 to 8-28 which is a HUGE reduction.
