This one is damn good. Mine is used, some minor scratches and damage, but a very good monitor. It works great with most games and apps, colors are good and I haven't had any issues so far.

Bought it in 2007 as an option for my Dell XPS 410. I've had it for 8 years now and never had a single problem with it, despite using my computer quite extensively. For what it's worth, the XPS 410 also performs great and I'm constantly upgrading its outdated components. After all this time, there are a few dead pixels here and there on the screen. it actually looks like tiny splotches on the screen but it works great and I wouldn't change it without thinking! It's been a month since my purchase and I love the almost square screen. The picture quality is excellent. A plus point is the height adjustment function. It has a scratch on the screen on one side but I can live with that as it is a used product and the price doesn't really give it away. I have to order a few more of these to keep for the future before they run out. I can't stand the wide screen!

I'm hoping for a good screen for my three monitor setup. But the screen was too yellow and all the changes I was able to make didn't fix the problem. But I think it has to do with the territory. They need better Q/A!

The first thing that struck me about this monitor is how HEAVY it is. It's even heavier than the desktop computer I connected it to. I've had CRTs that were lighter than this. The second thing I noticed is that while it works great with my integrated graphics, it doesn't work properly with my discrete graphics card. In December 2010 - 7 1/2 months ago - I bought a new Precision T7500 workstation from Dell that contained two of these monitors. Suddenly, one of the monitors did something I hadn't seen on monitors since the 1990s - a streak, the kind that used to indicate a monitor without a screen saver was on. The smearing is so severe that it is no longer possible to use graphics programs on it. The screen will now "bounce" from time to time, with an effect similar to a nerve impulse trying to create snow.

I like it a lot, strong metal construction, not cheap plastic. True quality, best model of its time, restored like new, works great. Worth the price.

There aren't many monitors with a 4:3 aspect ratio these days, but some of us have desks that aren't made for wide screens. It's a really great monitor, a bit lacking in documentation as mentioned, but pretty easy to set up. Five stars!

I bought the updated version and it was way better than I expected. This monitor costs $40 and is very easy to set up. Instructions were not given, but they were not required either.
