This is set up for a standard VESA 75mm mount. We used monitors with 100mm VESA mounts. It is very nice. However, it would be nice if it could also be rotated so I could have 2 portrait displays side by side. The base looks unnecessarily large, but may be necessary if 24-inch monitors that are twice as heavy are installed. Both of my monitors are fairly light, so they're probably heavier than they need to be.

The upper arm does not slide smoothly/easily when adding the weight of the OptiPlex 3040 microcomputer between the bracket and the monitor. It requires you to use your hands to powerfully maneuver your arms and control the position you want. I wish the arm had some sort of bridge between the seams of each section of the arms to make it slide more smoothly.

Damn, this thing is HUGE. It takes up a foot of space on the table. But it looks good and works very easily with my Dell monitors. My desk has a top bookshelf so I use half of the desk for it. Literally align the stand and monitors with the edge of the table. The stand is a bit heavy but very easy to set up and looks great on any desk. Be careful when buying screens and make sure they have extra outputs (DVI or HDMI) so you can connect them to a PC or docking station. My displays were only VGA and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to connect a second display to my system (I hope the solution works: VGA to DVI-D converter). I gave the stand 4 stars because it only came with Dell VGA displays.

I have an Ikea Malm desk and it was very difficult to install. The desk itself is thick and has a power supply/cable tray a few inches below the surface. I blame the difficulty of installing it on a table rather than a stand. I like that they take up less space on my desk than Dell's standard monitor stands, which frees up a lot of space. Overall I'm happy with the stands, although I wish they could swivel more than 180 degrees as well, but they don't. big thing.
