The first one that showed up was obviously used/returnable and broke right out of the box. There was a terrible sheen and a reddish tint. Blame it on Revane, not Dell. The replacement was brand new and worked great. You only get a 60Hz refresh rate for this price, and that's exactly what it is. I wish it had a higher refresh rate, maybe 75Hz would be nice, but then again the competition here is also only 60Hz so that's not really a complaint. The box was open on one side but the monitor works. The display port cable doesn't match my laptop connection and I need to buy a display cable to the mini display to get 4K. The cable has arrived. I get a resolution of 3840x2160. The monitor is sharp. It also looks great. I wish they could come with two displayports as I want to connect two computers to this monitor (not using two computers at the same time of course). HDMI ports do not support 4K resolution.

Sure, you can spend over $1,000 on multiple monitors that match the iMac's Retina Display PPI, but if you're not an avid gamer or designer and just want a monitor that still keeps text sharp, this is perfect and inexpensive. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 was the stand and the monitor port which wobbles even on low settings. Even with intensive typing, you can clearly see how the monitor shakes, but this can be remedied if you pay attention to the details. Excellent purchase!

Brand new monitor so no long term reviews. But out of the box I couldn't get 4K resolution, there wasn't even a choice in Windows Settings or in my Nvidia Control Panel. Problem? I bought this for my Macbook Pro 2020 laptop. This monitor comes with an HDMI cable, but after connecting it to the laptop I noticed that the max FPS is 30Hz. A completely unideal situation. So I bought my own Displayport to USB-C cable and that fixed everything. This monitor is really great, but if you're a Mac user, get a display port cable.

I'm a fan of music videos on YouTube and the videos are so clear on this monitor! I love the 4k experience in the monitor view! Make sure you choose the right displayport though, as few of them only support a 30Hz refresh rate and this causes the mouse cursor to lag so much on the monitor! Best affordable monitor in its class. 4K is much better when working very close to the monitor at a distance of 2-3 feet. Very adjustable and decent speakers for office work. The color was good right out of the box but I suggest you download a color profile from the Rtings website and the color will be even better.

I connected this to my 2017 27" iMac via an HDMI cable. Refresh rate 60Hz. Everything looks fine and the picture quality is much better than my old 24" Dell monitor. I'm working on Windows and I scale to 125% which helps with menu font size etc but still leaves plenty of room for multiple windows.
