This bookshelf is perfect for my sons books and toys. It was easy to put together and the perfect size for a toddler to reach all the shelves. An added bonus is that the company provides a bracket that allows you to attach the shelf to the wall. My toddler loves to climb on everything so I know he'll be safe playing with this bookshelf by himself. Overall I would definitely recommend this to all our friends for a future purchase.

I wanted to love this bookshelf. It was easy to assemble and feels sturdy. BUT it smells strongly of chemicals! We left it in our garage for 2 weeks trying to bring it indoors to use but it STILL stinks. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. We'll probably throw it away. I don't feel comfortable selling it or giving it to anyone to use. Doesn't seem safe in a house, let alone a child's room.

I would give this bookcase five stars if it weren't for the fact that my son can't sleep in his room for almost two years a week because of the smell. His bedroom window has literally been open for 14 days and he has been sleeping in another room ever since. Every day I think, one more night and then the chemical smell will be gone. And it's not.
