Works as expected

I use this on a DEWALT D28110 Heavy-Duty 4-1/2" (115mm) Small Angle Grinder and it works well. The lock nut is very deep and has no box spanner holes so you finger tighten it. That wasn't a problem for me, but I'd rather use a wrench. I have severe arthritis in my hands and I don't always have the strength to squeeze my hands tightly while clenching. However, I am very satisfied with the grinder and this grinding wheel holder.

Fits Wagner 0513040 PaintEater paint remover but not DeWalt DCG412B

Sole is too thick for the nut holding the sanding pad. However, it fits perfectly with my Wagner 0513040 PaintEater 2600 RPM paint remover, which I have to use with an extension. The product is not the same as in the photo, I received only a rubber gasket and a cheaper nut to fix the gasket, no third metal part. Not suitable for all DeWalt!

  • It's ok

DEWALT DW4945 4-1/2 " Rubber Back-up Pad with Locknut

This 4-1/2" Rubber Back-up Pad was a perfect fit for my Dewalt DC410 18V cordless sander. Tool. It slid right onto the shaft and the lock nut was pressed firmly against the 36 grit grinding wheel I had to use it with. Turning the grinder shaft securely tightens the locknut when powered on. If you wish to remove the backing pad or change the grinding wheel, simply depress the shaft detent on the grinder and pull back the entire pad to loosen the locknut so you can do the remaining part by hand…
