UPDATE: After using it for a year and only using it a couple of times last spring and a couple of times last winter it broke. Disappointed that it didn't last long as it helped a lot in draining my turtle tank. Works perfectly, easy to clean

Fits perfectly in my son's turtle tank. It sits in an awkward place in the house, and changing the water usually makes a mess. This hose and pump made it easy to pump water out of the tank to target the leftover food on the bottom and small rocks weren't sucked up.

The suction cup had a plastic ring around the tube that broke immediately when I tried to move it. Attaching the filter to the end of the hose caused the hose to rupture during attachment. As soon as I finished encrypting the aquarium water, this product stopped working. Extremely poor quality and waste of money.

We have a 5 gallon beta tank and change a quarter tank weekly. This siphon is very easy to use and works very well. We've had other siphons in the past that have required submerging ourselves in water to build up water pressure, but it just takes a few squeezes on the bulb and we're good to go! This has reduced the time it takes to clean our tank and is easy to clean.

The pump section is so small you can't actually push it out so it won't kick back in after half the tank is empty. vacuum and even with a full tank it's still hard to start and my nifty hand pump doesn't work well. So the product is junk. If this company would spend an extra 4 cents on plastic to make it bigger, it might work just fine, but it doesn't.

I have a 10 gallon tank and have always found it difficult to clean and change the water; I usually used a cup and diligently scooped up enough water. I decided to buy it 2 days ago. It arrived today and I've literally just used it, it's amazing. Absorbs water quickly, very convenient to use. For now it's a 5 star rating for me, I'll update if there are any issues.

At first we thought it was a great purchase. We hung it to dry between water changes in our aquarium. but suddenly, after 5 months, on the 5th use, it broke in 2 places. The hose broke and I couldn't attach it well enough to create a vacuum and get the pump to work. I think the warranty expires in 2 months and unfortunately I have to buy another pump now.
