***UPDATE** - Great customer service! The company contacted me and solved my problem. To be clear, this adapter does not support ultra wide monitors, you need the 4K version for that. BUYER ATTENTION! - NON RETURNABLE! TERRIBLE ADAPTER! Doesn't support ultra wide resolutions or even horrible quality flashes at normal resolution. Terrible product, terrible customer service. I would leave NULL if possible.

This adapter worked exactly as promised for four months (5 stars), then broke (minus two stars), but was promptly and politely replaced by Benfei (plus two stars). Given all the other good reviews I have to assume I was just unlucky to get the lemon. I really appreciate it when a company stands behind its product. especially if it was good value for money and it worked exactly as advertised.

This converter is great for standard DP to HDMI video conversion. If you want to use this with a multi-monitor setup where you have more display ports than HDMI, this works fine. I've noticed that the DP output is full and the black screens aren't completely black, but I'm pretty sure that's not a problem with this item. I use nVidia products. Feedback: The adapter seems to be well made. It was in a plastic bag, not a box, but it did have a protective cap on the DisplayPort connector and a plastic wrap on the HDMI connector body.
