Bought 2 pieces for 2 large dogs. With stubborn heads. I like that I don't have to look for the remote control. Collars are powered by conventional batteries. Do not charge collars. what do i prefer Unfortunately I have a 75 lb 1 year old player and as he plays non stop with a 5 year old he easily removes ANY COLLAR that is not a buckle type. Ties are easily given to him. :(

I have bought this collar twice. I will say that it is simple and effective. It worked great the first time until I dropped it on our hardwood floors. Broken. No problems with buttons or controls.
