Works on Dogs

This is a great anchor for our dog when she's on the leash for hours! However, after a little rain and soft ground, she pulled him out with ease and continued dragging him through the backyard. Thankfully she's a homebody and had no intention of leaving the yard. Once the soil is dry we will stick again and use again! Hopefully the weather will continue to get better!

Holds best on dogs

Works great! My overactive pointer mix couldn't pull it out of the ground. He fell off the chain so violently that he ripped the collar, so I was afraid it wouldn't hold him. But it is so! It was easy to dig into the ground with a little work. He didn't even care that a dog was attached to him. It did not break out of the ground like other stakes.

  • New to my collection

  • boring packaging

He's holding my strong super crazy dog, he'll be holding yours too!

I was so happy it worked! My dog likes to play ball, but I don't always have a fenced area to take him to. Now I can take him into the yard, he runs around like the crazy big fool that he is (Great Dane lab mix), chasing his ball over and over again with NO ANY PROBLEM. Believe me, he is strong! This item is not removable. Make sure you have a good cable too and attach it to a comfortable seat belt.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Something different

Great product to keep your pets where you want them.

This needle resembles a wine bottle opener. I like the simplicity of the design. Getting into the ground wasn't difficult. The chrome finish is great for preventing corrosion if left out in the rain. It is also easy to see when mowing the lawn. The size of the product is ideal, especially for large dogs that may be trying to run. The force generated by large dogs, such as a German Shepherd, keeps the product in place. I wish your dog's leash ring was thicker. I prefer to tie my dog to the top…

Easy install but bent within a month

Overall this track has stood the test of time. He kept our growing pup in the yard while we erected an invisible fence. It was very easy to install. I took off a star because it was badly bent when I took it off (we've only used it for a month and only when we were out with the dog). However, it was still firmly in the ground, so I'm only deducting one star. Our puppy weighed about 50 kg. When we used it we were surprised that she could bend it (now she is 10 months old and weighs 70lbs not…

Worked great for a dog screed and then repurposed!

My wife and I have been using this tie for weeks while I was planning and saving for 400 feet of chain link fence to install in our newly built home. Many people have trouble getting it into the ground and staying, which obviously depends on when it rained last, "just screwing it into the ground" if you try to screw it into the ground, where it hasn't rained a few days in a year. It probably won't screw in the summer. When I was building the fence, my wife bought about a hundred lightbulbs at a
