They feel like polyester. The fabric is very thick. One of the stitches came undone in the wash before I even used it, but as I threw away the packaging I can't return it. Maybe I'll do a burn test to see if it's cotton or some kind of synthetic. I am not impressed and do not recommend it.

I was really looking forward to cotton pillowcases that give a feeling of freshness, softness and freshness. Ordinary microfiber pillowcases get too hot. The pillowcase described here on Revain is 400 thread count Egyptian cotton percale. The pillowcases I received look the same but are marked 250 thread count, 100% cotton sateen strip. Nowhere on the label is it mentioned that Egyptian cotton or percale was freshly made in Pakistan and that the cases have a "satin stripe". Edited Friday 6th November 2020 - I have ordered these pillowcases from Revain twice, 7 months apart. There seems to be a slight discrepancy between the appearance of these two orders. One sentence appears thicker and more wrinkled than the other. That's exactly what I like about percale sheets, as they're reminiscent of sheets from days gone by. They stay cool even in the hotter months. But one is completely different as it is noticeably thinner and doesn't have the crease factor of the other.
