If you have a sport bike with a tiny triangular seat that tilts up, stay away from this bag. It's almost impossible to tie this thing down without leaving a 2 inch gap between the seat and the bottom of this bag. Durability was not considered in the mounting method. I was trying to install this on my CBR300R. Fastened with flimsy plastic clips. Unfortunately, the hooks that accept the clips are located at the very bottom of the device itself, leaving no room for the clip. Inserting the clip into the hook creates a two inch gap where no further tension can be applied to secure the bag. I have a Vstar 1100 Custom and wanted something on the rack for short day trips. Works great / perfect just for me, I suspect it will be too small for when my wife needs her raincoat, sunscreen, makeup or a place to stash our two jacket liners (but she rarely rides with me) - issue clarification.
