UPDATE: 2 weeks and 4800 miles and these bags have been flawless. Before I left I sealed my raincoat. I only had 1 day of rain but there was no leak, everything stayed clean and dry. Great little holdall. I put on a pair of jeans, 2 shirts, 2 pairs of underwear (top and bottom), a shaving kit, a pair of sneakers and some other small items - tissues, sunscreen, etc. The bag is NOT the problem. Excellent bag. The zips work well and the straps are strong, although using the grommets is sometimes very tiring. It pays to feel safe. This bag comes with a variety of straps to tie. The waterproofing is really good - I've worn this bag in the rain and it stayed dry inside even though I only rode in the rain for about an hour. Unlike many Dowco products, this one leaves something to be desired. First, it doesn't fit in almost all bags, including those sold by Dowco. Received my Dowco Iron Rider main bag today. I am very impressed with the quality of the bag. It was well packed. and arrived safely upon delivery. I installed it on my 2012 Triumph Thunderbird. and it sits very securely on the trunk. Velcro fasteners ensure sufficient security. and additional fastening straps ensure even more security.
